Description of Software Tool:
The above referenced Excel Software Tools are provided for the design of Reinforced Concrete (RC) beams subject to torsional loading, using American Concrete Institute (ACI) 318-14 criteria and methodology, with Metric (MPa or Mks – Kgf/cm2) Units.
The intention of such a software tool is to provide for the design and detailing of RC Beams subjected to torsional loads; the RC Beam is checked for ACI design and detailing requirements for required shear + torsion reinforcement (hoops + stirrups), as well as required flexural + longitudinal torsion (side) reinforcement.
