ASCE 7-10 WIND LOADS - DIRECTIONAL PROCEDURE PART 1

Description of Software Tool:

This software tool determines the wind loads per ASCE 7-10 on Main Wind Force Resisting System (MWFRS) and Components and Cladding (C&C) for regular (box shaped) building structures, using the Directional Procedure Part 1 of Chapter 27 for MWFRS, and Chapter 30 Part 3 for Components and Cladding.

This Software Tool consists of the following Design Worksheets included within:

• Main Wind Force Resisting System (MWFRS) Walls and Roof;

• Components and Cladding - Walls and Flat Roof;

• Determination of Gust Factor G;

• Determination of Topographic Effect Factors;
