ACI 318-14 Shear Wall Design (Metric)

Description of Software Tool:

The above referenced Excel Software Tool is provided for the design of Special Reinforced Concrete (RC) Shear Walls using American Concrete Institute (ACI) 318-14 criteria and methodology, using using Metric (MPa or Mks – Kgf/cm2) Units. These structural elements are analyzed elsewhere and designed and detailed with this software tool after loads are determined. Once a wall design is completed, the information can be easily transferred to drafting for incorporation into construction documents.

Please Note: These software tools use two curtains of reinforcement only (single curtain not an option), and boundary element reinforcement is confined with hoops and stirrups in all cases.
