The above referenced Excel Software Tool is provided for the design of Special Reinforced Concrete (RC) Shear Walls using American Concrete Institute (ACI) 318-14 criteria and methodology, using U.S. Customary Units. These structural elements are analyzed elsewhere and designed and detailed with this software tool after loads are determined. Once a wall design is completed, the information can be easily transferred to drafting for incorporation into construction documents.
